1989
A Dream Takes Root in Flushing
Founded by John Y. Chang, Sung Yong Chang, and Won Shik Kang, the business begins with a vision to make salon-quality, do-it-yourself beauty accessible to all. This foundation leads to the launch of the KISS brand in 1992 and establishes the basis for what would evolve into today’s multi-company platform.

1992
Retail Breakthroughs and Brand Foundations
Operations formalize under KISS Products, Inc., with entry into major retailers including Walmart, Target, and Walgreens. The portfolio expands with the launch of additional brands, while IVY Enterprises, Inc. is established to serve the beauty supply channel with diversified product offerings.

2008
Global Scale and a Growing Footprint
The organization expands into more than 90 international markets, including the UK, Canada, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, and Japan. Growth is supported by investments in talent development and leadership programs that strengthen the organization’s global capabilities.

2012
Innovation Accelerates & Capabilities Scale
Category-defining innovations, including imPRESS Press-On Manicure, drive growth while expanded manufacturing and a responsive supply chain enhance speed and scale. These advancements position the organization as a leader in fashion nails and false eyelashes across global markets.

The Next Era of Growth
Continued brand expansion is paired with long-term infrastructure investments, including a LEED-certified headquarters in Port Washington, New York, and the KISS Distribution Center (KDC) in Savannah, Georgia—advancing capabilities in sustainability, logistics, and operational excellence.
